The University of Bern is at the heart of Swiss politics: It cultivates an outstanding network with politics, administration, embassies as well as national and international organizations, associations and parties. That network enables it to identify sociopolitical tendencies and changes at an early stage as well as conduct research aimed at delivering facts and clarifying context. Examples of this include research on stress and job satisfaction of nursing staff during the pandemic as well as the urban-rural divide.
